Legal Notices

Beginning March 14, 2020, the Village of Afton is conducting a Household Characteristics Survey in support of our municipal water system.
We plan to upgrade (and extend?) the water system and must document that we are eligible for financial assistance. Only certain portions of the Village system are going to be included in the survey.

When you receive your survey, please fill it out right away and return it ASAP in the self-addressed stamped envelope provided. RCAP Solutions, a not-for-profit organization, is helping us with the survey at no charge. We need a very high rate of return. If RCAP does not receive enough surveys in the mail, we will be going door-to-door to make sure we get the required number of surveys. Get your survey in early and avoid having us come to your door. Your participation is critical to showing we are eligible for grants that will help keep your water rates low. The survey is confidential. For questions, please contact the Village at 607-639-1022.
Thank you, Afton Village Board
